Details: In anticipation of The Barbie Movie’s cultural moment, I initiated and secured a partnership with Mattel to develop a custom product line inspired by the film. By building the connection with Mattel and leading cross-functional collaboration with product and legal teams, I brought the collection to market. The launch became one of the top-selling collaborations of 2023, successfully merging pop culture with product innovation to capture widespread consumer excitement.
The Results: Complete sell-through and 5x the amount of social engagements in comparison to the average metrics. Additionally, we received press hits from publications like Refinery29 and The Pop Insider.
